Thank you to all the men who participated in the survey.
A summary of the study’s findings can be found here.
This survey examined the social aspects of hepatitis C among gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM). We hope to learn more about the sexual practices, drug use and social-sexual networks of MSM, with the aim of understanding how these dynamics affect vulnerability to hepatitis C infection. The findings of this study will lead to the development of strategies to minimise new hepatitis C infections among gay, bisexual, and other MSM, including among HIV-positive men, and how to improve health care and social support services.
